Teenage Years

2000

Dave started work as teenager working at Amtico International. He was responsible for the fitting of all of their design floors for product launches, so had to become a perfectionist early on!

A One Man Band

2004

In 2004 Dave decided to go it alone, fitting Amtico Floors across Solihull, and the Midlands, before taking on larger commercial contracts for retail stores including Specsavers, Arcadia Group and O2 up and down the UK.

Solihull Showroom Opens

2013

As the reputation of Premier Flooring grew and more fitters joined the team, we opened our Solihull Showroom. A small, but perfectly functional shop which enabled us to expand our offering into carpets, rugs/runners and wood flooring.

We Move to Worcester

2016

We opened our second showroom on The Tything – a much larger retail premises which allowed us to offer a greater range of flooring to our customers and we became the region’s exclusive Amtico One retailer.

New Premises and Stock Investment

2020

Alongside a global pandemic, we moved into our current premises to bring our warehouse, offices and showroom all under one roof. This enabled us to streamline our business and invest heavily in stock to offer customers a ‘supply only option’ and compete with online prices.
