We’re in love with the range of stair runners by Roger Oates Design – and it seems our customers are too! As one of Roger Oates’ exclusive suppliers, we’ve been super busy over the past few months installing these beautiful flatweave runners and adding colour and beauty to staircases across the region.

Based in Malvern, Roger Oates is renowned for its creative experiments with colour, pattern and texture. The flatweave runners and rugs are a statement of elegance and artisan tradition, whilst simultaneously being a bold and colourful addition to your hall and stairway. With the huge variety this product offers, you have endless design possibilities, enabling you to create a completely bespoke look within your home.

Roger Oates combines traditional weaving techniques with modern designs to create artisan products that are truly authentic. These bespoke flatweave rugs and runners stand the test of time, having been traditionally woven within two UK mills and made from 100% wool.

Fitting a Roger Oates Flatweave requires skill, craftsmanship and considerable attention to detail. At Premier Carpet & Flooring, we use only specialist fitters to fit our stair runners so that you can be certain to have a finish of the highest quality.

Chatham Mallow

This is a beautiful contemporary design that brings to life the colours of spring and summer. It remains one of the most popular designs from Roger Oates, having been in the range for 25 years! We love the signature stripes and the gentle pops of colour and warmth.

Dart Midnight

Dart Midnight is a perfect balance of classic herringbone structure with a strong narrow border. We love the contrast of the deep blue border with the subtle blue and white hue in the centre.

Roger Oates’ production is small-scale due to the traditional methods used, with each rug or stair runner being carefully hand-finished by skilled craftsmen. This means pricing will vary depending on each individual staircase, and production timescales can be around 12 weeks.
